At the beginning of the year, adidas approached us again to produce a new series of SHPTLKS. However due to the Covid-19 pandemic we were unable to travel to Tokyo and had to shoot the mita sneakers and RECOUTURE (coming soon) episodes remotely. We wanted to move away from the standard ‘shot over Zoom’ video and created a computer interface to creatively elevate the final product.
For the Pam Pam episode, we were lucky the Covid-19 restrictions lifted in the UK over summer and were able to shoot on our home turf.
