Each month over the course of 2017, adidas Consortium brought together the most influential names in sneaker culture to collaborate on some of their most iconic silhouettes. The Stan Smith, Gazelle, Ultra BOOST, NMD and Campus were all reworked by the likes of KITH, Colette, END, ALIFE and SneakersnStuff, to name just a few.
It was our task to communicate the concept and identities of the brands behind each collaboration, with a set of tools that lived up to the hype of each drop. Each month a collaboration between two new partners would bring forward a unique narrative that demanded a new way of thinking about our deliverables.
The end product was a vast and diverse set of tools. Spread across the course of 2017, we developed and produced digital, physical and retail solutions for 20 partners that spanned across photography, set builds, look books, CGI, digital animation and film. We helped adidas and collaborators achieve a near 100% sell through on all drops on the day of release.
